What the 24 weeks look like

Part-time is for people who cannot stop earning for three months. It is the same curriculum, the same projects and the same mentors as full-time, spread over twenty-four weeks so that each unit gets a fortnight instead of a week.

Teaching happens on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. Evenings are for new material and pairing; Saturdays are longer project sessions with code review at the end. In between, you will need about ten hours of self-study a week. Every evening session is recorded, so a late shift does not cost you the week.

Most part-time students work full-time jobs, many in shifts. Tell us your pattern at interview and your mentor will plan checkpoints around it. If a month goes badly, you can pause and rejoin the next cohort at the same unit.

The client project runs over the last six weeks, in a team with other part-time students. Demo day is on a Saturday so that you can actually be there.
