Admissions
From first call to a start date in three weeks
Our admissions process is there to check the course fits your life and that you will enjoy the work. It is not there to catch you out.
Four conversations, no exams
-
A 20-minute call
Tell us what you do now and what you want to do next. We check the course fits before anything else.
-
The prep pack
Ten hours of free exercises in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Finishing it is the entry requirement.
-
An interview with a mentor
Forty minutes: talk through your prep work and solve a small problem together. It is a conversation, not a test.
-
A seat and a start date
Pay the £500 deposit to hold your seat. Two weeks before you start, you get your laptop and timetable.
What you need
Be 18 or over
On your start date. There is no upper limit.
Finish the prep pack
About ten hours of free exercises, or Code Foundations, which counts.
Have the hours
About 40 a week full-time or 20 a week part-time, for the whole course.
Right to study in the UK
For in-person cohorts. Live-online students can join from anywhere within UK time zones ±2 hours.
What you don't
- A degree
- Maths beyond GCSE
- Previous jobs in tech
- Your own laptop
- To be fast
Our graduates have been nurses, chefs, warehouse leads, teachers, café owners and a retired harbour pilot. The best predictor of finishing is having finished the prep pack.
